Elegant and discreet, this bracelet is made of faceted natural chalcedony beads, mounted with a 925 silver clasp. A delicate piece that brings a touch of vaporous softness to all your outfits.

What is chalcedony?

Chalcedony is a fine stone with soft hues, usually sky blue, sometimes slightly lavender or gray. Slightly translucent, it seduces with its milky luster and velvety appearance. Known since Antiquity and highly valued by Greek and Roman civilizations, it takes its name from the ancient city of Chalcedon (now Kadıköy, Turkey). Used in jewelry in the form of beads, cabochons, or cameos, chalcedony is prized for its visual softness and soothing light. It is found in particular in Brazil, Madagascar, India, and the United States.

What is the symbolism of chalcedony?

Chalcedony is often associated with compassionate communication, inner peace, and serene creativity. In lithotherapy, it is known to calm emotions, ease tension, and promote fluid and sincere speech. It is ideal for sensitive, reserved people, or those in times of transition. It is said to encourage authentic expression, strengthen self-confidence, and harmonize the mind and heart. It is a stone of gentleness, comfort, and balance, perfect for moments of calm, meditation, or sharing.

Import fees / VAT

Do I have to pay customs duties or import fees?

Please note that for all orders to be shipped to addresses outside of Switzerland, experience has shown that customs duties and/or VAT will be charged by the carrier in order for the goods to be released to you. Due to the complexity of international trade, this will unfortunately have to be paid by you and will be your responsibility. If you refuse the goods at customs, all return costs will be your responsibility (this includes any re-importation costs into Switzerland if you do not clearly mark this as a return).

What happens if I change my mind after the order arrives at my local customs office?

We understand that you may change your mind once the item arrives at customs and you see the customs charges. We do however need the order to be returned to us by the customs office before the charges can be refunded. We will unfortunately have to charge a basic fee of 10.- / $10 / £8 to pay the courier.

If you have any questions, just send us an email and we will get back to you as soon as possible: info@taneja.ch
