What is rose quartz?
Rose quartz is a gemstone prized for its soft pink hue, a symbol of tenderness and harmony. A variety of quartz, it is distinguished by its translucency and delicate radiance. Its color, which ranges from pale pink to a deeper pink, is due to the presence of titanium, iron, or manganese in its composition.
The main deposits of rose quartz are found in Brazil, Madagascar, South Africa, and the United States. This stone is often cut into cabochons or carved to highlight its natural softness.
What is the symbolism of rose quartz?
Rose quartz is traditionally associated with love, inner peace, and compassion. In many cultures, it is considered a stone of the heart, promoting harmonious relationships and self-acceptance. It also symbolizes emotional healing and kindness.
In lithotherapy, rose quartz is known to soothe tension, encourage self-love, and strengthen emotional bonds. It is often given as a token of affection and can be associated with wedding anniversaries or other moments of sharing and togetherness.

Do I have to pay customs duties or import fees?
Please note that for all orders to be shipped to addresses outside of Switzerland, experience has shown that customs duties and/or VAT will be charged by the carrier in order for the goods to be released to you. Due to the complexity of international trade, this will unfortunately have to be paid by you and will be your responsibility. If you refuse the goods at customs, all return costs will be your responsibility (this includes any re-importation costs into Switzerland if you do not clearly mark this as a return).
What happens if I change my mind after the order arrives at my local customs office?
We understand that you may change your mind once the item arrives at customs and you see the customs charges. We do however need the order to be returned to us by the customs office before the charges can be refunded. We will unfortunately have to charge a basic fee of 10.- / $10 / £8 to pay the courier.
